I read article back in 2070/71 (english date 2013/14 ), when FarCry4 team visited NEPAL for this project. Characters, map, weapon(Gorkhali Khukuri) is inspired from Nepal. As you proceed in storyline, when you reach mountain region, you can hear people speaking in Nepali language, Nepali songs playing in Radio. Yes, this game also covers some cultural aspect of India. But most of the events in game are based on Kirat {Mountains of Eastern Nepal}.
