I think we prepare a lot in the process of making notes. We comprehend better, our understanding of the topic increases manifold, we realize what's important and what's not. We are forced to brainstorm while making notes so we develop analytical skills; we remember better so memorization becomes easy. We filter out the best content as per the needs of the exam. And notemaking also improves our writing ability. So when we make notes we become better aspirants to clear the exam.
If we outsource this job to ChatGpt then all this learning is lost. Chatgpt notes will be as good as a book, a material which eventually we will have to read and then memorize. So what's the point.
We learn so much when we make our own notes. Technology is important but knowing when to use it and what to use it for is way more important.
