For those that are opposed to this broad outlook of sin as presented in this video, what do you propose we do with such clear statements from SOP as the following:

1) "Selfishness is inwrought in our very being. It has come to us as an inheritance..." [LHU 326.4]
2) "The inheritance of children is that on SIN." [CG 475.3]
3) "But Adam failed to bear the test. And because he revolted against God's law, all his descendants have become SINNER." [9MR 229.1]
4) "Adam sinned, and his posterity became SINNERS" [RH, Feb 23, 1905, par 7]

I believe many fear to accept this truth because of the fear of what it would mean for Christ. What helped me understand and accept this was to know that Man, just like God, has a physical and a spiritual component for lack of a better term. For man, both the physical and spiritual are fallen, that is, we have a fallen physical nature and canal mind. Christ only took our fallen physical nature and NOT our fallen spiritual nature or the canal mind. Here is a quote from SOP:

"The HUMAN NATURE of Christ was like unto ours, and the suffering was more keenly felt by Him; for His SPIRITUAL NATURE was free from the every taint of sin." [5BC 1103.8]

There are a number of messages Revelation1412org has done on these topics that I call upon everyone to prayerfully listen to.

Very good, I have always looked at sin as a disease, because in essence that's what it is, we await our full salvation.

Reading through many of these comments has made my heart sad. By all appearances the Spirit of our Lord and Savior is absent. Whether you believe you are a born sinner or not is not going to determine your eternal destiny. It is the love of Christ alone that will bring us heavenward. Such love is demonstrated by longsuffering, meekness and thinking the best of one another. I notice we become so quick to sling mud at someone who disagrees. If this was a chat room I think Jesus would have left a long time ago. Please brothers and sisters, let's press together in love first. The Lord will bring us into unity of doctrine if we are all surrendered to Him. And if you sincerely believe someone is being led astray on their thinking, why not say a prayer for them instead of attacking their character?

Sin is everything that is in opposition to God. When Lucifer formed iniquity in his own heart, he became everything that is in complete opposition to our Heavenly Father.

When Adam sinned - he bought the stain of iniquity into his bloodline, which is humanities inheritance. We came out of alignment with God and became aligned to the opposing side. Because a man chose to disobey God, he disconnected himself and us all, from our heavenly Father, bringing us into opposition.

We all are born with this opposing heart - a self centred heart that can only naturally be aligned to transgression/ sin - purely because we have been cut off from the source of rightness, God. It's only when we love God and fellow man as ourselves, repent and are washed clean.. that we can begin to approach the throne of God.

When we are able to reconnect to God, we get the renewal of what the life of Adam should have been, returned to us, NOT ADAMS life because he failed us, and his inheritance is death, but by CHRIST'S LIFE - which by his spirit - can be successfully lived through us and Christ's inheritance is eternal life. Becoming ours.

Being able to approach the throne of God, washed clean of sin with a contrite heart, we connect to the great source of love. The new spirit, the new life of Christ in us, enables the connection to be sound, sweet and secure. Our eyes begin to open and ears are enabled to hear spiritual truths we were dead to. Scripture comes alive, unfurling its hidden depths as we feed on the bread of life, Christ dwelling in us, guiding our ways.

Love grows, reality changes, the joy and knowledge of loving God spills out of us in the form of the living water flowing into our very beings from the source and out of us towards others. From this love springs more love, joy, peace, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, patience forming selfless acts. No longer are we motivated by our old selfish urges (what's the payoff for me?) because love for God destroys disobedience, and love for others seeks good for them and not a payoff for selfish reason.

Our heart is changed but not belief but by real faith. A very real connection to God through his son. When we connect to the source of all righteousness we sever the bondages of sin. We are reconnected to God through His gift of life, the life of His son, who is the second Adam being able to do what Adam failed to do and that was to live a life of obedience to his Father. Christ only did his Father's will through perfect love and because he always remained fully connected to his Father by not sinning - he was able to be the lamb which breaks the bondage of sin and death itself. This is the life we can now have, which we all can now inherit from Christ.

To know God is to love Him and obedience stems from that love. 'Believers' may well keep an outward semblance of law keeping but, inside their heart, they remain as self seeking as they ever were. Pride, jealousy, SELF rules their inner man - not God. There is little love for God or man so law keeping is an outward show only. Inside they remain in the state we inherited from Adam.

Only when we are born again - are reborn in spirit - when the Father and son dwell in us through the living water, the bread of life, the Holy Spirit within us do we get that change of heart. This is why a sage writer wrote love is the greatest gift of all. If we don't have love we are a clanging gongs.

Men naturally oppose God because that is our inherited nature. We actually sin as soon as we are able, but it is only when we know the law that we are answerable to it. God is love itself. I trust He knows each and every heart and know which lives will be lived joyfully under His jurisdiction and who wouldn't.

Thank you Nader, for again being a willing conduit for God's awesome truth. The clarity and simplicity of God's beautiful message, calling us back to a saving relationship with Him and paving the way (through Jesus) is a gift beyond description ... and is available to all who choose this path to restoration. God's law and grace ... totally inseparable ... together in perfect balance and harmony - only available to be fulfilled in our lives through total 'moment by moment' surrender of our lives to God. ("Christ in you" Colossians 1:27) What a God of love we are privileged to serve ... providing a deep abiding peace. There is only one way to truly honor God AND His law. Restoration of a right relationship with God renews our heart (state of being), causing us to be a conduit through whom 'Christ in us' honors God's law. Praise God that you uphold God's law as you do Nader :)

Wow.. this is quite revealing!
I've never looked into this topic deeper, so I was just going with the mainstream idea, If I break the Law that means I sin. So it was logical, that I need to act on it, so I might became accepted.
I always felt there is more to it, but you explained what I was looking for!
Great presentation!

Great message. Thanks Nader!

As I see, many of those that disagree with this message find it "unfair" that God would allow a person to be born in sin. The weird thing is that these people would not find it "unfair" for a person to be born without sin... To be born with or without sin are the same when it comes down to fairness. God would be fair in both circumstances, however, when we read scripture we see that He created a perfect world and men without sin. Through Adam we became contaminated yet in Christ we become pure. If you do not accept the that sin could enter the human race through one man you cannot accept that salvation would enter human race through another man...

It is through God's justice that he allowed sin to change the nature of human beings in Adam.
It is through God's grace that he allows sinful humans to change their natures in Christ and be saved.

The Old Testament: Thou Shalt Not Kill
Jesus: Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. John 3:15

The Old Testament: Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery
Jesus: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28

Are you going to tell Jesus he does not understand sin?

Brother Nader as always i thank you for that encouraging message, I really lit up when you brought out what else Sister White says about sin in the Great Controversy “it’s the out working of a principle at war with the great law of love”

To those that think our sin problem is just our choices, consider this:

One of the most deplorable effects of the original apostasy was the loss of man's power of self-control. Only as this power is regained can there be real progress. {MH 129.5}

By nature we are alienated from God. The Holy Spirit describes our condition in such words as these: "Dead in trespasses and sins;" "the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint;" "no soundness in it." We are held fast in the snare of Satan, "taken captive by him at his will." Ephesians 2:1; Isaiah 1:5, 6; 2 Timothy 2:26. God desires to heal us, to set us free. But since this requires an entire transformation, a renewing of our whole nature, we must yield ourselves wholly to Him. {SC 43.2}

Ephesians 2:1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

Isaiah 1:5-6 Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted. (6) From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness— only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.

2 Timothy 2:26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
