These sure do look amazing! I have the new build version on order, but I might have to pick up that BR Black example showed off here as well. It looks very smart!

The traction on these certainly intrigues me - Bachmann's Midland 1P is one of my favorite tank engines, but it is let down by its lack of pulling power. If this can succeed where the 1P falls, I will be a very happy modeller indeed!

There's much to be said for a spot of pre-grouping of an afternoon.

I preordered 2 ages ago. I was not expecting them to gain a price of £180 4.5 years after their announcement...

I'll apply for a mortgage and see if I can order one...

I'd not call a 4-wheel bogie a pony truck myself and I doubt many others would.

I love this model. Did TMC mention when they would be released?

I was looking forward to buying the Cambridge allocated version of the G5; transferred to work the push/pull Saffron Walden service. Should I order the early BR version and attempt to adapt it myself? Not with my ten thumbs.

Love how different these models are, just shows the subtle differences between each unit for its daily life usage.

I do like that hopper bunker too, that's quite nice...

I DO prefer the black liveries if I'm honest - Green makes me think of Thomas trains 😂

I am having some what of an awakening with steam at the moment, and while I don't particularly like the style of this locos, the models are quite nice indeed!

Stay alive looks possible, however given the space I'd be tempted to just fit an ESULOK5 sound chip and fit stay alive to that and kill two birds with one stone ..

Thanks for sharing Jen 🙂❤️

Stunning models glad tmc have dine them at long last, shame none survived in to preservation, but happy that one is being built in my home town the town known as the cradle of the railways as its where it all started almost 200 years ago

Lovely looking models - sadly way out of my reach so will have to stick with my modified old Hornby M7. I wonder if they'll produce the unique 67340 with extended tanks.

I think that there used to be several in Cheetham yard, Manchester, for carriage heating purposes. Sadly, I do not think any survived.
