BTW I agree that official MWO site management is just getting worse. Some released media either not appearing at all (like the weapons design art from the Facebook), or quietly added to the "media" directory without newsfeed announcement (was done with non-"weekly" screenshots AFAIR), or vice versa is announced on the newsfeed but gets buried by subsequent news and not added to "media" folders (like the Battlemech 13 Trebuchet and all the Wallpapers). What a shame.

i am interested in both games.
I just think, Hawken is DIFFERENT, not better or worse.
MWO is based off the original Mechwarrior Games, and from what one can see in videos so far, it seems to match them pretty good.
Of course, you can only tell that finally, when you played yourself.

I think, Hawken will be much more action oriented gameplay than Mechwarrior ever was.
Also in MW you are piloting HUGE Mechs, while Hawken thingys are more like battlesuits, so it'll feel al lot different anyway

Eh, looks like either beta leaks prompted devs to release more long anticipated footage with many new features and mechs besides new map, or those "leaks" were not so "leaks".

iam not hating MW. but in the real world on online gaming, now there are a lot of action mmorrpg competing, i dont think so if this MW online lives longer. My point is that how can i show the skill if its not a fast paced game, do i just only shoot the enemy while walking, short jumping and dashing.We need good mobility in the game. In the long run, we people can see the light of boredom.

ever saw World of Tank? it's not quick action dashing fabulous tank battle. it's classic tank battle MMO. pretty slow, tactical, a tank could take many hit before explode, varied with type of WWII tanks and... guess what? averagely, hundreds of thousands player login overyday since more than a year.

hawken is for twitchers, mechwarrior is more strategic. battletech has been around since the 80s, hawken is one of its many bastard children.
