In case anyone is wondering what I THINK about this video.

Gems 18:16-33 ( Abraham intercession)

Romans 8:34 makes us understand who our intercessor is . Catholics are said by many Pentecostals not to be Christian because of the tag 🏷️ religious but what I see here by Selman ( my brother ) and many other Pastors like ( ENENCHE did this one time ) is the same thing religiously practiced in the Catholic Church… booking mass is special prayer points …

While what Apostle Takim says is true ( although he did not categorically call names ) Selmans action as he was led was probably an EXAMPLE.

You can write your prayer points to PEOPLE to help you in prayer by interceding for you. Sometimes you can see tell people to remember you in their supplications to God. INTERCESSION is biblical. But having a personal relationship with God is optimal.

Praying for people to be healed etc is a form of intercession. Praying for your family as well is. But you don’t write prayer request to GOD when you can talk to him but yes people can join you in prayer…

If I had an opportunity to speak to this man of God in the video, I'll ask him just two questions.

1. He quoted a scripture saying "if my father knows" to mean that people don't need to write prayer point since God knows what we want. Then IF GOD TRULY KNOWS WHAT WE NEED, WHY DO WE THEN PRAY?

2. How will a deaf and dumb pray to God since we don't have anywhere in the scriptures that shows us how a deaf and dumb man prayed.

3. How did this message edify the church.

I have said this and will always repeat myself. If I want to control you, I will make sure I make you see me first before your see God. although it will take a long time for me to achieve this. But, when I am done, your will remain mine; for as long as it is possible.
Believers, be careful. Always watch and pray. You can't twist the hand of God to answer your desperate prayers. Sometimes, desperation comes as a result of things that we may have failed to do in the past.

😢😢 In this period, religious leaders are seeking attention by criticizing influential Men of God, much like how in the past, God communicated with Daniel through writing on a wall. So, why should it be concerning if a person writes on paper to communicate with God?
Please let it get it to this Man of God that he's a Hypocrite seeking Attention.

I think most people in this comment section missed the point Apostle Takim was making. He wasn't really saying writing on paper was wrong, the point he was trying to make is that writing a prayer request and NEEDING a Christian like yourself as a MIDDLE MAN to get your prayers to God is essentially paganism. That's what our forefathers who did not know Christ did. He was explaining that Joshua Selman and others doing same are returning us back to the Old Testament. May God give us understanding.

Joshua Selman is quite right because all things must be backed up by Faith. Thats why the Lord used even mud , pieces of handkerchiefs, using water or oil is ok.
All things work for good for those who Love God. Lets not criticise for nothing. You guys dont forget The whole Spirit is our helper to show us all truth. St.John 16:13. I heard a nice testimony by Prophet Sadhu ...When he was praying over prayer requests people had written, Jesus appeared and He joined him praying over the requests...Prophets are not pastors like in operation...Prophets listen from God in what they do.

It must be understood that levels of understanding differ.Psalms are written prayer points, just as the Lord's prayer.Our brother here is yet to have his eyes opened. Prayer points guide and God hears them. If you get them, use them. I have been using some from our elders eg Dr Olukoya etc. Don't you use prayer points from Psalms too, eg Turn yourself to me Oh Lord and have mercy on me...Is that not a prayer point for you¿ Why pray through Psalm 25 and Psalm 91 which are prayer points for you¿ Anointed men of God are inspired into those prayer points while fasting.Use them!

Oh wow, today I nearly sent prayer requests to a program, but my heart was heavy, and I told myself I would tell God myself during the prayers. Thank you, Sir. I am happy for this confirmation. This is very true, because before I become born again I always ask for people to help me to write some prayer points as I was a Catholic before and prayer points are unheard of.

But why do some pastors focus on preaching against another pastor, instead of focusing on preaching salvation. Ministries and their callings vary. Nothing wrong writing prayer point. It's joining faith with the man of God .

I have been writing the prayer points. Sometimes you just put the list in your Bible or notebook for future reference . Some prayers have been answered, others not yet. I really don't see anything wrong with the prayer points
