Mike, I was a plastic extrusion engineer/automotive Design engineer for over 20 years in Detroit. I did the 1996 Dodge Ram extruded FOAM body side mouldilng. Everything he showed you is the correct method for a Gas filled extrusion process. Note: gas is injection is done in the melting phase. (plastic pelts are going from a solid to melted state) It also, stops the gas inside compression Zone from going backwards. The screw is design to keep building up pressure until it goes into the "Cross head tooling" which is coating the making coax. Great Video can wait to see the complete coax making process.

Wow, I live in Canada and have no local suppliers of anything related to HAM, been eyeing up ordering some M&P coax but was concerned about just buying into YouTube hype.
