It’s free and usually faster to do an iTunes or finder backup, which I do. I have terrible upload speed, but also if you need to restore, the computer backup is usually faster too, because it doesn’t need to download all your photos and videos. Unless you have really fast internet maybe

Regarding the needed space needed on your phone, my phone prompted me to temporarily remove several apps before I could start installing the update.. And I had over 7GB of free storage the whole time. Must've been a bug or something.

So I’m trying to through the finder on my Mac, but it’s not finding the update. Do you think it’s because iOS 15 is technically “optional”? If I go to settings in my phone, it says iOS 14.8, your software is up to date. And at the bottom, it says “also available, upgrade to iOS 15”
