Written by Academy Award® winner Josh Singer (Spotlight), the drama is produced by Wyck Godfrey & Marty Bowen (The Twilight Saga, The Fault in Our Stars) through their Temple Hill Entertainment banner, alongside Chazelle and Gosling. Isaac Klausner (The Fault in Our Stars) executive produces. DreamWorks Pictures co-finances the film.

EVERY ONE OF THE THEMES OF FIRST MAN SCORE IS UNIQUE. EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR WHAT YOU SAY: THIS IS A GREATNESS. THE SAME I SAY OF THE WORK OF DAMIEN, THE USE OF COLORS, THE USE OF CAMERA, THE INTERPRETATIONS, ANOTHER GREATNESS. I WILL NOT GET TIRED OF SAYING IT. WE HAVE ALLOWED TO PASS ONE OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT AND UNIQUE MOMENTS OF THE CINEMA. FILMS LIKE FIRST MAN ONLY ARRIVE ONCE IN A LOT OF TIME.
