Hong Kong Timelapse

This video is a compilation of timelapses captured from my Hong Kong trip.

It was shot using an Nexus 5x (Apps: Camera FV-5) and edited with DaVinci Resolve and iMovie 10.1.

How did you get timelapses from so many different places ?

I watched this video thinking you were going to tell us how to do it using iMovie, not just show us a time-lapse lol. I would love to figure out all that is needed to get this effect. How many hours do you normally have to leave your camera out for something like this? Once you're in the software is it just a matter of speeding up the tempo that makes it look like this? I also want to know how people are able to speed up the video and make it match the tempo of the music being played? If you're able to help id really find it helpful. Thank you so much. If anyone else has some tips or tricks to use in order to get the most out of my free software please let me know.
