Iran's Ayatollah says October 7 attacks on Israel were justified

Iran’s supreme leader said that the October 7 Hamas attack was justified in a rare public address in Tehran on Friday.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also said that anti-Israel resistance movements would not back down.

His speech came hours after Israeli airstrikes targeted the leadership of Hezbollah in Beirut once again, including Hashem Safieddine, the cousin of the former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, as well as a senior Hamas official in the West Bank on Thursday night, in one of the biggest attacks on the occupied territory in years.

Iran is panicked; otherwise, it wouldn’t have organized such a large crowd for a speech. 80% of the citizens didn’t vote and oppose the regime. Khamenei is now surrounded by double and triple security since the attack on Nasrallah. He no longer has the support of the people, and he understands that he is facing a massive defeat.
