How to connect Projector to Sonos Arc to get Dolby Atmos sound Fast & Easy

After a few months we decided to upgrade our matrix box due to our screen going black during use.

This HDFury Arcana will allow you to have amazing sound from your projector to your Sonos system but it also allows you to have the Dolby Atmos sound that we all want. You will notice through our HD theories website that there are multiple switcher boxes, if you are trying to hook a projector up to your Sonos arc sound system then the HD Fury Arcana is the only thing that will work for you.

This matrix/switcher box had significant upgrades compared to our previous box and all I can say is that I wish I tried this Arcana box sooner.

Hello, I really like your content explanation and presentation. I have a question. I have a projector (viewsonic x2 4k) that does not support HDMI arc. I want to use this with a soundbar that supports HDMI arc. Would using an HDMI matrix device with HDMI arc output work for this? thanks

Question I have the Arcana and I have a projector on the way. So my question is could I plug the hdmi out from the arcana that would normally be going to the projector, and instead plug it into a hdmi switch or hdmi splitter and have one go to projector and one go to the TV. I would only get dolby 5.1 with this on the Sonos Arc because I would need to run optical from the TV to the Arc. Not sure if this will work but thought I would ask.

I have a 4k Max firestick with atmos output on my benQ projector, you'll have to use the arcana for this, and wire everything. I thought it could be done on Bluetooth.

Help! I just got a projector with no eARC or ARC slot- only had HDMI and im trying to set up Sony wireless Theater Surround Sound system... will this work if plugged into my projector? Its kind of a cheap "smart projector" so do i need get a firestick that supports Dolby Atmos too?

Thanks, great video! How did you wire the HDMI from the projector to the switch (HD Fury)? Wondering how long your HDMI cable is and if that impacts the quality of sound. Looks like it’s at least a 20’ HDMI cable.

With this hd fury arcana, in theory if i have two hdmi ports on my projector, (1 arc hdmi and 1standard hdmi) the port that's labelled hdmi out on the arcana, could that potentially plug into a standard hdmi switcher so i can connect multiple devices? and then connect the output port of the standard hdmi switcher to the standard port of the projector?

I wonder if it’s possible to hook up some kind of hdmi switch box for multiple sources so you don’t have to switch out the hdmi cable. So you would have for example 4 sources going into the switch box, the hdmi out from the switch box would go into the Arcana, and then the arcana outputs to the projector / sound bar. Have you tested this by any chance? Thank you!
