A day of photography, hiking and exploring small towns with the Mamiya 645 Super, Fuji X100V, Canon Rebel 2000 and Sony A7SIII – followed by some thoughts on lugging too much gear around.
Just discovered your channel today and have been binging it! You're the perfect combination of some my favourite passions: nature, video and photography. I really fell out of love with digital photography and looking to dip my toe into medium format film soon and it's so helpful to see a skilled photographer use the cameras I'm thinking about buying.

It's always great when you find a new favorite channel. Yeah, I know the feeling of carrying 3 have stopped that silliness. Now I just carry too many

Incredible landscape - those colours…!

Yours stills and video further cementing your channel as one of my firm favourites, and really looking forward to part three of this series. Beautiful landscapes out there - take advantage of it while you can (hiking up mountains is a young persons game 😂)
I can say, I've been ridding myself of all the unnecessary "stuff" in my possession over the last year - it's hard to begin with, but eventually you get really good at knowing what you need, and what you don't. It's an amazing feeling to be free of clutter and nonsense that's just taking up space, physically and mentally.

Do you know what I love the most about your channel? The fact that I know that the video it's going to be so damn good and relatable before I even manage to open it. You're doing an awesome job and you such an inspiration for me and for many others watching your videos!
I completely felt that quote about 'getting older' hahah. The older I get the more I feel like simplifying my life and the things around me, including cameras. I realized that the less I think about gear, the more I enjoy the process of taking photos and the more I enjoy it, the happier I am, YAY! For me the x100v was just that perfect camera for that and it really helped me getting better. It's great to jut not think about lenses, filters and gear in general 😁

Always a pleasure watching you two guys shoot! Looking forward to seeing more.

I found out about your channel Monday and you have become my favorite photo/video channel. Your aesthetic is unmatched and the content is always just extremely high quality and astonishing. Shame that you don’t have 100 videos up… I would have watched them all by now.

A relatable dilemma for sure, as I typically have a 6x7, 6x9, 35mm SLR or P&S, & digital mirrorless on any given trip. (And maybe an insta360 and drone ‘just in case’) Also, funny you talk about getting skunked by the weather right after I thought to myself, “wow, they got so lucky to get that moody atmospheric fog” lol. Previsualization expectation can be such a subjective thing!
Beautiful vid & results!

That No Man's Sky photo is pure bliss

Haven't gone through the whole thing yet but man, your grading is the best.

The fog added so much to these photos! Love how they soften areas to allow the sharper sections to shine. Also I’m on team one camera per shoot (notice I didn’t say one lens 😜). Another great video!!

Great aesthetics congrats!!! I love the mood and color tones.

Even if it felt like you got skunked by the weather, the day looked magical from a grey Ohio at the moment lol. Also know exactly what you mean about simplifying. It is something that is a big focus for me in the next year!

Awesome video! Love your color grading and the final overview of images you took over the day - great body of work :)

Great stuff Dylan! Colors are killer like always.

I’m stoked to see that subscriber count climbing for you. This is a high quality channel!👏🏻

Had this exact situation when I visited Colorado last spring. Lugging around a Pentax 67 was fun. Sometimes it's just worth it.

Fantastic video. 👊🏼 I live near Vancouver, Washington, and it’s so easy to forget how picturesque our region is. Great job revealing how epic it is!

Incredible scenes man, captured so well too.. how good was that frozen lake. Looking forward to the next episode !

Beautiful video as always! Would you consider doing a video about your editing set up? Like what computer/software/monitor you use and so on. When it comes to simplicity, i'd love to see what equipment you have that brings you the most value. I find it is easy to end up with too much tech equipment with the intention of producing better content only to eventually feel overwhelmed with it all.
