I love the idea that server would grow out of just some kid forgetting to turn his server off for 20 years

So the hidden lore of all the parody challenge videos is that someone is playing on 2bPP and still being haunted by BlackYoshi. Love it.

These videos are so funny. Would love to see a redstone creation showcase where none of the contraptions actually work.

No one will believe me, but I regularly played on Skoobydooby Weewee back in '06. When it ran on a stolen unreleased version of Notch's pre-pre-Alpha.
Chicky_Lumps
I love the continuity between these, such as referring to JonFortnite as the player who lived for a million years
MoonriseMystery
I just clicked on the video thinking it would be educative but I just noticed it's by Trapperdapper so I don't know what to expect anymore
justsomerandomdude
2bpp has always been my favorite server. I've been playing since 2006
Edit: sorry, i meant 1936

I don't know if you read these, but I think it would be fun to parody those channels where they look into various ARGs. The catch would be that nothing of interest actually happens in the ARG, it's just a boring simple Minecraft playthrough, but the video narrator keeps desperately trying to find interesting things in it

Naruguy’s apology video brought a tear to my eye. I truly hope the 2bpp community will find it in themselves to give him a second chance

I was on 2BPP back in 1789. Great to finally see some appreciation for those good times.

9:43 The strongest 2BPP player in history VS The strongest 2BPP player of today

Only true veterans will remember the Echocraft server, notorious for being the first Minecraft server to run entirely on punch cards

If you’ll notice, the documentary contains many features that weren’t available in the early stages of the game, such as horses and tridents. This is because it is a historical reenactment. Very little footage of those early years survives, so these reenactments are used to give us an idea of what the past might have looked like.

'BlackYoshiX joined to place the final bed' was the greatest reference
RealGhoda
Thank you Trapperdapper for informing us about the history of the oldest minecraft server and the crazy battles during the eras, wouldn't be possible without blackyoshi at the end. It's crazy that you found all the old footage of the server a true man of history
paccoloco
Glad you're expanding your parodies into the wider world of Minecraft content. It's funny how much of the things in this video I would actually believe to have happened on a Minecraft server.

Fun fact nobody cares about or everybody already knew:
2bpp was opened on May 16th, 2009, which is 1 day before Minecraft was created.

1:54 genuinely made me tear up, not even joking, my humor is broken
