Here’s the thing that confuses me about this whole rebrand. Camila never had a distinct brand to begin with, so what exactly is she rebranding from?

Honestly this rebrand just feels like Camila's way to rebound and get away from her long and messy relationship with Shawn Mendes, who also had a hand in cementing her in that latin brand of music. She changed her hair, her image, her sound, just like a girl trying to rebrand herself after a bad breakup. It just comes across as trying to hard in my opinion. I'm a big fan of her previous sound, especially the Romance era, that is my favorite album of hers. When I luv it came out I knew that this was the end of me being a fan of her lol.

I did not care for I luv it at first, and was ready to clown. But I gotta admit, I admire her for taking risks and trying something new. The bad songs are really bad to me but the good songs are really good to me. I love twenty somethings, BOAT, and June gloom, and pretty when I cry a lot! Some lyrics were def not good and seemed like she def could have come up with something better if she spent some more time on it, but it’s a start! Excited to see where she goes from here, never was THAT interested in her music so she got a new fan here!

Her new album is actually solid and I never cared about her music before so technically this is my first era with her. If the Spring Breakers movie transformed into an album then this would be it, it's such a huge vibe and I love it. 'B.O.A.T' and 'Dream-Girls' are huge standouts. I hope she'll stick to her new guns.

I recommend everyone to check her recent Rock in Rio and Glastonbury performances, she's one heck of a performer

I listened to it and really liked many of the songs. Change is hard to do, but needed in order to grow. It came in at #15 and sold over 30k so not so bad at all.😊

It’s funny cause I’ve never been interested in her before, even in fifth harmony I didn’t care for her. However this album I’ve been sticking with since I LUV IT dropped. I luv it is such a banger (imo) and it got me hooked on this era. And I’m here for this album I enjoyed and it made me have fun and that’s all I want from my music. It feels like her head is frozen in 2015 when she used to be "cool" and now she's that adult who tries to connect with Gen Z by acting like them, and that sounds extremely forced. She should try to mature over time and not pretend to be a character that nobody gives a damn about.

I don't care what anyone says, the new camila album is a HIT in my house. Camila's last 3 albums were heavily latin infused and tbh after 5-6 year and dragging that sound onto 3 albums a reband was in desperate NEEDS.
