Ben Howard - Days Of Lantana (Blogothèque version full cover)

It's been ages since I've uploaded another cover but this gem of song off of Ben's latest album did the trick.

I absolutely love the Blogotèque Session version and tried to replicate some of its magic by adding similar elements in production, albeit taking some clear artistic liberties. The acoustic guitar and vocals are a live take, the other elements were added afterwards.

Everything recorded and mixed by myself, except for the drum loop which I borrowed from Ty McAllister. Special thanks to Ty for sharing his drum groove, check out his solo stuff under 'Mount Oso' on Instagram or Spotify.

After spending some more time with the song and lyrics I decided to record another, simpler version focusing more on performance and less on playing along with the metronome etc. You can find that version on my channel as well.
