Nintendo can get absolutely fucked. The only reason I recently bought Metroid Prime Remastered was because I booted the original up on Dolphin, since I couldn't be bothered to find my Gamecube, all the cables, controllers and accoutrements to be able to connect it to a modern TV. It reminded me what a great game it was and so I bought it on Switch. In ten years when I want to replay something that's only on my Switch library, do you think I'm gonna be dusting off something with a dead battery that's been sitting in my attic for 8 years? Hell no.

Thank you friend. Personally I never used Yuzu for piracy. I own a Switch and every game I played on Yuzu. The reason why I used it was to play the games in 4K60fps, which is a much better experience than what Nintendo's piddly hardware can do. I've always hated Nintendo's stance on emulation, especially when it comes to older games they don't even sell any more and this is the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm done giving Nintendo my money. Perhaps in a few years I might get a used Switch 2 (or whatever it's called) and a few used games (hopefuly they won't go all digital). But I'm not buying any new hardware or games from them ever again.

Hmmm Yuzu installer from the link you provided threw this message up as soon as I attempted to install it, so seems there are still more ghurdles thanks to Nintendo. "Got error while downloading config: AxiosError: Network Error" 🤷♂

There may not be official releases by the Yuzu devs anymore but we know itll be cloned, forked or whatever and continued.
Just like so many other things.
Personally I dont use it.
I do like to use Citra however.
I wonder if that impacts Batocera, as in including Citra in their image.
Will they just add whatever latest Citra version was, or will they remove it from future versions.
