the program is moving in the right direction. these injuries stink, and i feel for the kids, but in the big picture i don't think it's going matter a whole lot.

If you lose that many players against FAU, how many will we have left after OSU-Oregon-Iowa-Michigan? We better win these first 4 games or winning more than 5 will be impossible with a depleted roster.

This season is going to come down to Aiden Chiles and if he can settle in or not. The turnovers made all the difference . the feel of the game could easily have been a 30ish to 3 game.

With those injuries, it would’ve been crucial to keep Mangham and Henry. They played a total of zero snaps week 1. So I’m sure they are thinking a little about that too.

Man, BC looked really good tonight. Maryland looked good too. Those road games are looking a lot more like losses after this weekend

I went back and looked at the pass protection and it was pretty damn good. Watch BC against FSU, Ugliwoowoo for FSU had 10 minutes to throw against BC. May come back to help MSU in a few weeks.

Alante Brown was a disappointment since he got here. He comes out in his J. Smith debut and looks amazing....annnndddd he's gone.

Win or not, the refs Friday night were a complete joke!
Also I forgot what play it was, Smith should have challenged a call.

This team will be lucky to win 3 games this year. The defense looked good but the qb and offensive line looked horrible!

No need to bring up Connor Cook and no Spartan fan should be comparing Chiles to Cook. Let’s be real here for a second. All QB that have taken over the helm over the last 20 years has struggled their first year. Drew Stanton, Brian Hoyer, Cousins/Maxwell, Connor Cook, and finally Brian Lewerke (injured) all looked shaky in their first season.
