Good idea Michael. I've had lots of problems with those sockets. Particularly on mobile devices. Lint gets in there and the plug won't fit any more and come loose. I just had a bright idea. Suck out the lint with your mouth. Better have a glass over water ready to flush it out of your mouth again though. I tried it, and it worked.
