They preached repentance & the remission of sins-MISUNDERSTOOD faith alone

How retarded it sounds to add "of sins" to the repentance in this verse...makes zero sense.

Praise the LORD.  5 stupid statements (they are more) you will hear someone who is unsaved make: (1) salvation is free but it will cost you. (2) sinless perfection is impossible but you just can't keep on sinning. (3) it's not that you could lose your salvation, it's just proves you never had it in the first place. (4) yes, works can't save you but if you are truly saved you will have good works (5) you have to do more than just believe to be save, c'mon even the demons believe and they tremble.

I just watched a man we talk about how he overcame his sin by the power of Jesus Christ I don't know if I should believe that or not what do you think? He said that Jesus he took the power of the send that was in his life away and that he doesn't say in those particular sins anymore one was lost the other one was swearing and I there was one other one

Here's how I feel I know I was saved when I was saved and I knew that I knew but I didn't know how I ever forget except all I think of I had got on prescription drugs for many years that I abused and one day I still been going to church but I got the Internet trying to find out a quicker way to the gospel besides reading the whole bible again in context to understand it I don't know we're it went. Wrong till this day I guess I got a good idea of of how cause it was when I didn't have fellowship much with my father unless I needed him I do know this even now if I don't pray for my heart and mind to be gaurded I don't know if I could forget again I'm struggled a spiritual battle like never before because Jesus has raised me up for a time such as this hope if anybody else went threw this let me know

I don't how you keep doing it Renee, it has to be so frustrating for you, when you clearly quote scripture and people don't see it. I know a Calvinist that is so caught up in it, he tries to convert people to believe in Calvinism much more than he does at trying to convince that Jesus Christ died for our sins and is the Saviour of the world. Remember even if you preach the true gospel it doesn't mean automatically you're going to save anyone it's up to their heart if they harden your heart from the truth you're not going to be safe even though it is the truth

a good teacher does not pull a verse out of context: you are always referring to mat 7:22 and 23 but continue reading verse 24 the therefore is there to explain verses 21 to 23. therefore whosoever hear these saying of mine and doeth them and verses 17 to 20 also is also to be taken as explanation to verses 21
