I also talk about my experience at the Chanel flagship store in NYC, what I learned from my awesome CA, the debate over "made in france" vs "made in italy" and what I learned about Chanel’s price increase that’s happening on Nov 1! At the very end of the video, I share some personal information as well.

Hello fellow New Yorker! I love what you said about being financially able to afford it. Although I’m at a good place in my life financially, I have to check myself sometimes when I go into Chanel because I get so excited and it can be so addictive to buy more instead of putting extra away. Congrats on your bag and glad you were able to purchase a classic piece before the price increase!🤗 I have to wait until I meet more goals to buy another one, but unfortunately I won’t make it before the price increase. It’s also a lesson to be thankful for what you have, and to enjoy the moment. I just bought a Chanel mini rectangular about 3 weeks ago and I adore it!)

Greetings from San Diego, CA. Congrats on your new addition. I just got a jumbo flap in July 2019 and it was $6200 and it’s made in Italy too. Now it’s $6400. Don’t worry, you still have a great one. I got a bucket bag too a few weeks ago $4500 and not too sure where it’s from but I believe they are all in Italy. Its so good that you inspect your bag before getting that other one. I bought the bucket bag, took it home and looked it over and saw the ware on the strap. I took it back the next day and they are repairing the strap, free. I was heartbroken that the leather on the drawstring looked worn but the rest of the bag was perfect. Now I have to wait until mid December 2019 and if I’m not satisfied, I’m return it. I never took the tag off or used it. It’s sad that they will put a used item back on the shelf that is damage but always inspect it. And the made in France is a flap is not gonna happen but you can find that in Louis Vuittion with many items. I am at a point in my life too that it’s time I’m investing in myself too and I’m your age and I don’t feel bad about the choices I’m making now. Here’s to being grown and

Oh that is also my dream bag. I still can't afford it for now but i really hope i can one day. My first luxury bag is from LV recently. I also knew that they have increased the price for both brands and i really really hope their quality is up to the mark. If one increased the price, their quality should increase too to justify that.

Great video and loved hearing about your experience! I think you are correct about price increase not being as big as has been rumored. I heard also that medium will be 5800 jumbo 6500 and small and maxi no change. Congrats on a beautiful bag! I think MIF although romantic in concept does not really matter. Great decision to get it now right before the price increase. BTW you do not sound 40!!! 😊 TFS your story! ❤️❤️❤️

Congrats on your lovely new bag! You deserve it! My entire life was dedicated toward supporting my kids even til today with my kids sports events. Now, that I'm in my mid 40's I'm finally splurging on myself with my very 1st Chanel. Pls advice, would you recommend me purchasing my 1st Chanel boy bag from a Chanel boutique or off of preloved? I saw a boy off of Fashionphile as new with same retail price as Chanel boutiques.
