Thank you, for this excellent show about Lillie Langtry. I remember seeing a PBS series on her life story years ago and wanted to see and hear more about her. Sarah Bernhardt advised her and supported her career on the stage as they were very good friends, but it was Oscar Wilde’s idea for her to be there in the first place. He also was the friend who put that white flower on her dress when she sat for The Jersey Lillie painting.
