Sublimation of Iodine

In this video, I'll be showing you how the sublimation of Iodine produces beautiful crystals.

Solid iodine is warmed to form a beautiful purple vapour which can then be cooled against a round bottom flask containing ice.
This demo can support lessons on changes of state, particle theory and crystallisation.
