Interesting! I am Christian and live in Europe. Here every Muslim can take pension as they don't come from monetary funds with interest, they are paid by the active, younger workers. This is called "contract of generations", the young pay for the retired. Only some private companies add money which comes really from monetary funds, with Riba.

What I know the pension was first Started by Omer RA during his caliphate. He used to night patrol see the difficulties and problem is facing. He started giving pension to old age, widows, and people who in desperate need.

Brother Zakir, the correct way is that one should calculate how much they ( and if their employer has also ) contributed and then only take pension money up until that amount, once that amount is reached then stop taking pension you can't give voluntary or involuntary money whose source is riba
