Germany was represented by Michael Schulte with "You Let Me Walk Alone" in Lisbon. The performance received 340 points (204 from the jury and 136 from the televote) including the 12 points from Danish and Dutch televote and the juries of Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland, placing 4th in total.

Thanks so much for cutting it together! This years esc has been such an emotional rollercoaster since I knew Michael Schulte before he got chosen to be our representer... but I‘m still so proud. ♥️ and I can’t wait to be on his concert next February.

It was my favourite in the National Final and so so happy it represented us. The performance was amazing and it was finally an ESC, were it was great watching the voting. I already knew Michael before Eurovision and I always liked his music. He made us proud!
