Kamba leaders back Kenthi Kilonzo's bid for Senate

A section of leaders from Ukambani now say that Kethi Kilonzo will vie for the senate seat that was held by her late father Mutula Kilonzo. The leaders who include machakos county senator johnstone muthama and MPs Daniel Maanzo, Kisoi Munyao, Richard Makenga, Stephen Mule and Katatha Maweu endorsed Kethi's candidature. Speaking in Makueni the leaders say Kethi will vie for the seat on a cord ticket. Kethi had dropped her bid for the seat after her step mother declared interest in it saying it would be a curse for her to compete against her mother.
