I live only two miles from the factory and was totally excited when I heard that you toured the plant. I've toured the plant many times and am always impressed by the craftsmanship and final product. I have a few friends that work there and one of them showed us her amazing skill in shaping the bracing.
I love your channel and and the amazing videos that you produce. However, I believe this is arguably the best one you have done to date.
Martin is an amazing company and it was quite evident you felt blown away with your tour.
The town of Nazareth and the surrounding area has a ton of history and beautiful landscape. I hope you had the opportunity to enjoy even a little bit of the charm of the area and hope you come back again... the factory tour never gets old.

Enjoyed this detailed tour of the factory in Nazareth. I went on the tour last fall and enjoyed it very much. It was my second time visiting the factory. The time before was in 1962 when I brought my dad’s Martin D-18 that he purchased back in 1945. The frets had warn down and it also needed the nut to be replaced. They did not charge for the work because my dad was the first purchaser of the guitar, you know the lifetime Guarantee. This was a tour of the new factory built in 1964, and compared to my last visit in 1962, the one thing I remember was the crowded atmosphere compared to the uncrowded atmosphere of the new factory.

Thank you for all the questions and giving lots of time to see the surrounding work progressing on the guitars. It was an interesting tour and showed details not offered on the regular one hour tour. By the way I have Martin guitars that date from the 1880s to a D-45 made in 2001. They all play so well and are used when I play in the live cafés here in South Korea.

Martin Lx1 all day. Best guitar from Martin in my opinion. So comfortable to play and very boomy for the size with some Earthwood acoustic strings. Would love to purchase LXM, it’s more durable from weather changes.
