The One Back Power RPO is a deadly Spread Air Raid Offensive Run Pass Option. It's even deadlier in the 3 x 1 formation...aka Trips.

So in this video, we are covering the One Back Power RPO from Trips.

Today on offensive breakdown, I break down NFL schemes that get covered by the likes of QB School and Brett Kollmann. That’s right, the spread offensive breakdown is seen in NFL offenses and are covered by the QB School and Brett Kollmann

Not NFL Offense, But brett kollmann breaks down NFL game film and offensives. This QB School like offensive breakdown goes deep into the NFL spread concepts and how high school football can use NFL style plays covered by brett kollmann and QB School

Thanks coach...we followed this almost to a tee...we have scored 30 plus points the last two games. We are doing great.

You can do a triple option read as well off of this look. Instead of blocking the front side end, leave him alone, and get the linebacker behind him (in this look). Q Reads the end and will give or keep. His second read is the slot linebacker...Y goes for the safety in his blocking assignment. Q will either keep or pitch to F, throw the bubble to F or Keep, or throw a deep (5-7 steps by Y) slant to Y that can be utilized off of his blocking path (referencing Y). Backside 1 step slant will eat this coverage alive (especially if L is on the WIDE side of the field). That is just a little bit of what I see in this alignment match-up (have about 100 more things I would do).

Where were you when I put in the spread last season! Learning so much watching this. After 20 years coaching the Wing T and the Veer this stuff is new to me, but this channel answers so many questions!

When pulling to the LB, have you had any issues with the playside LB reading it like an iso and filling immediately? if so, how do you adjust/ what options are there for your running back in this situation? Thanks for the help!

Coach,
Thoroughly enjoy the channel. I am hoping to initiate my own coaching career at the conclusion of my present occupation in the military. I was hoping you could provide me with advice as to what degrees I should pursue in order to best set myself up for success. In addition, if you could recommend any reading materials from your shelf you would consider vital to a new coach's development, it would be greatly appreciated.

What program do you use to draw up your plays

I run mine similar: dart/tackle wrap to the left and then on the right a bubble screen to the inside wr. I like to attack the edge of the defense if I can. Really stress the cb and safeties

Coach- if a team gives you a 2-tech(instead of the 1-tech) with a stacked backer are you blocking it the same way with the center just taking a flatter step?

Coach What if you get a 3 Tech to the back do you still run the play the same or you adjust it

You talk about running power away from the shade so center can block back, but also running to the boundary so you can have trips to the field.

Presume if shade is on the boundary side you still keep trips to the field and change the blocking scheme?

Coach, do you ever do a Power right out of this exact formation... kinda Veer?

Why are you pulling the RG rather than double team? Is this a timing thing or something else?

Y will need to be off the line as you only have 3 in backfield and Y is covered.

Hey coach. Have you made a video about inside zone from 2x2 or trips? The basic 3'rd and 1 down block inside zone that looks like a single wing wedge. I'm trying to find ways to get better play from my guards and center. Were a big country team so we have the size. We see a ton of teams walking backs to both a gaps. All gaps clogged . We can keep throwing it to the flat or etc but I think it's a pride thing when it comes to picking up that yard. We line up toe to toe I'm wondering if a little space would help? I lost both line coaches and spring ball is coming soon. My current line coach just doesn't know much football. I'm old school Gap, On, Down when it comes to blocking. Any advice on pass pro or inside zone while in a open front like 2x2 would be awesome. It's possible that were just out numbered because we are. Some teams shot every gap and out number us. The rb will go uncovered for entire games. Some coaches will not adjust. It's nice to pop it to the rb on a flare or etc and get easy chunk yards but I still want to be able to run the ball/clock. I also don't want my QB taking that many hits. IDK about you but roughing the passer is a call I have never seen while calling plays in the metro area. We have trouble with blocking the open edge oppisite of our rb. We pick up the guys in the middle with ease. Going to bigger splits (were toe to toe) if something I think may help but also may hurt given the sugaring of the A gaps. Let me know your thoughts. I appreciate it a ton. I lost a ton of help and I am calling offense with a RB coach and a WR coach that will miss half the season. Thanks again for everything you do!
