Pakistan PM Imran Khan and Army Chief Visit LoC Amid Kashmir Tensions

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Line of Control, which serves as a de-facto border in the disputed Kashmir region, Friday, September 6, a press release from army's media wing said.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and Kashmir Committee Chairman Syed Fakhar Imam accompanied Khan, who was briefed on the ongoing situation at the LoC. He met with local victims of Indian cease-fire violations and troops, the press release said.
"Pakistan firmly stands with Kashmiris for their right of self-determination. While our current efforts are to expose fascist Indian regime to the world, our Armed Forces remain fully capable and prepared to thwart any Indian misadventure or aggression," the statement quoted Khan as saying.
