When I was at uni, in second year I had some nutrition lectures in the new health sciences building, and the lecture theatre had terrible PWM controlled LED lighting that would flicker so badly you could actually see it perceptibly when it was dimmed. That combined with overtiredness and once I literally couldn't keep my eyes open in a lecture... It was a weird experience literally not being able to keep my eyes open for more than one second... I thought I was about to pass out or something. I just had to close my eyes. I was fine again once I was out of there... Still overtired but not like I was about to pass out. I blame the lights
