yeah the CEO of starbucks flies his private jet from Cali to Seattle every week but car enthusiasts are the problem.

Clarity: This agreement is just a formality at this point. All of the required changes have been made, some of which were made 2+ years ago. Now that this is behind us, we're focused on the continued development of both existing and future platforms.

The EPA has had the auto racing industry in their sights for decades.

When government agency’s start using phrases like “compliance training” the hair on the back of my neck stands up. The government overreach here is unreal.
Brenan_.
Taylor swift still good to take her jet to get starbucks though right?
sprintershs
epa should be required to prove that these devices are causing excessive pollution.
j_chap
Long as Cobb appeals they will be fine. The EPA doesn’t have legal authority to do this kind of stuff after the loss of Chevron Deference.

The clean air act is just a bunch of bs

The American EPA is “OUT OF CONTROL!”
My understanding is that more emissions come from power generation, mining and future emissions than road transport.
It’s all good to enforce something that will make a change but 🤦🏼 what about measuring total emissions of vehicles including making of all products and components inside the vehicle. Most green warriors will get a shock when they learn how back their “saviour” EV really is.
RIceMan
Just remember government vehicle's dont have emissions
mariemurphy-ozzy
I am with others if EPA has issues with emissions then get the FAA to ban all private jets in the country, but also not against having emission standards but there is a point that hybrid/EV isn't going to work...People still live model A fords etc does that not tell you that in 100 years people will still probably want gas powered vehicles.
Once again we are moving into a world controlled by politics that aren't always the best option for the many.

Time to hire the Mob to take care of the EPA!!
randallmason
The EPA is not mentioned in our constitution, nor is it a branch of government that makes law. It’s beyond time we disbanded the EPA, ATF, and a few other three letter agencies

The term "compliance training" should scare everyone!

People are gonna start using carbs again

Tuning software companies need to all move over seas where there's no regulation against this crap and still provide a way for us to buy it and get it shipped here
Alfonso-mhnp
The end goal is only public transportation. 😂
apocolypse
Abolish the EPA. I was hoping chevron deference would fix this

It won't be long before the EPA turn up at the race track checking on the cars.

As a gig worker i deliver single item packages like pack of aa batteries or similar every day to rural addresses 15-20 miles each be curious to know why the epa specifically targets companies like cobb or hondata yet walmart runs wild wasting gas with these silly deliveries
