great video sorin .. basic observation on both sides is neccessary after liquid damage i would imagine .. im not a tech by any means and would never insult sorin in his work i've got too much respect for his work ..

I saw a lots of liquid damaged laptops, worked 6 years at repair shop. In case of liquid damage take the board completely out for visual inspection. From the start i was talking to my self "take the board out, take the board out" :)

Great Video. well.. when you have liquid damage.. always inspect both sides of the board.. no fancy tools needed, look for burned looking pins, resistors.. that probably shorting the board...

Swapping the the BQ725 with BQ735 without adjustments to firmware will lead to poor battery life estimation and potential safety risks down the line. Still a GREAT VIDEO 😉
