You guys can hate messi all you want, but you can't deny that he should be up in that list. You may hate him but you have to respect him as an athlete and incredible player. Yes I'm a messi fan and no I do not hate ronaldo. Those two players have my uttermost respect. There is nobody like those two. You can compare and argue all you want between the two but those two will never be comparable to each other. They are the best players in their own respective way. Wish them both the best as we only have a few more years to enjoy them both.

Ronaldo had great performance in every competition last season even though Portugal not played well defensively he played well, Modric didn't played well after group stage in world cup and UCL his teams performed well their, Ronaldo deserve it

Modric is an obvious choice. CL trophy + world cup silver medal. Key player in both Real and Croatia.

*If Ronaldo stayed at Real Madrid they would all be saying he would win it, now that he left for Juventus all of the sudden Modric was the "Key man" for their CL win. Like Cristiano wasnt the top scorer of the competition, first player ever to score in all group stage matches, first player ever to score in 8 straight matches, like he didnt score 26 and 5 assists in 27 apps in La Liga, like he didnt score 4 goals in the World Cup and made 1 assist, 3 of witch to get a tie agaisnt Spain witch at the time was won of the favourites to win. But no lets all forget that.*

*Dont get me wrong, Modric is a great player, probably the best midfielder in the world right now, but was he better than Cistiano this season? in my opinion, no.*

Griezmann was sooo underrated, not fan of him but i think he deserved at least on this list of the big three... first world cup champion player who doing what Maradona did in WC86 (make a goal/assist) in all knock out phase match of the World Cup... yes he not exactly phenomenal like Maradona showed to the world in Mexico, but what Griezmann did in Russia deserved an appreciation.
