I was in Batavia visiting my Grandparents (I'm from NJ) and I was listening this on the radio, I couldn't believe this happened. I just happened to be there at the right time. My father graduated from that school class of '76

In High School basketball, the end of the game is signaled by the sound of the buzzer, not the clock being at 0:00 or the lights around the backboard. He got it off in time.

I graduated from Batavia, and am incredibly happy that they're going to states, but I have to agree. Very close, but I'm pretty sure that the ball was in his hands when the clock struck 0:00
