I saw a vintage chrome toaster at the flea market this weekend but forgot to go back and grab it cause I was too excited for the Scotty Cameron putter I found which my brother told me not to buy for $50 yet it already is at $104 with 29 watchers and 7 bids with 5 days left in the auction lol he said he would apologize if he was wrong 😅 I got the apology 😂

Definitely yes on the toaster’s I bought a Vintage Sunbeam radiant heat one last week for $2 on the third day of estate sale.I sold it yesterday for $99.99! Today I bought 3 packs of Nos fruit of the loom underwear for $18 they sold an hour later for $90! It still amazes me what people buy.

That was an exceptional garage sale. The problem I'm having this year is in selling. I've never seen people so reluctant to spend money on used items like they are these days. If this trend continues I'll only buy what I want in the future. Added to the sales down trend is the 2023 tax issue for ebay. I think many will not see flipping as such a good thing in the near future.

I got stuff that belonged to my mother in the 50' 60's 70's 80's from furniture to appliances to clothes that are professionally packed that she bought that were feature in vogue magazine. One lace blouse I remembered she paid $125 dollars. Yes she liked nice things and my father could afford them. One day I will open it up and give it to my sons to sell everything. Since I don't want it.

Shipping and Ebay fees are too high now days to sell heavy stuff. I was looking through my fees on Ebay and Facebook Marketplace and I love the low fees on marketplace so I’m thinking of putting more things there.

I have a chrome blender circa late 60's... It weighs about 15 pounds! Lol and a mixer from the same era, also chrome. My parents both them new. I'm going to keep them for awhile before thinking of selling them.
