FYI: you can associate feminism with anything you like, but it doesn't mean feminism has the copy-rights to gender equality.

Change the name. If "feminism" means "gender equality" then you're better off just using gender equality.

"Women ≥ Men" is the Feminism ideology based on women being more powerful than men and at the very minimum with women being equal to men. If Feminism was about equality then it would have carried the name "Equalism" but it is impossible for any two persons to be equal so an ideal setting should be for people to have equal opportunities where no person is discriminated against based on being male or female and be based on merit instead of gender. That is NOT the case with Feminism and Feminists hence human civilization is headed for a collapse because women are attaining to positions, power and opportunities due to having a vagina, due to being immoral but not due to ethics and merit.

Whenever i hear "i dont understand why some ppl hate femenism" she just reminds me of that girl that we all once dated that was egotistical and never tries to understand anything about her bf and then wknders why they leave her.

It has become a meme to hate feminism.
I think that people hate feminism so much that it has become mainstream.
If you complain that there are too many Strong Female Protagonists in media, a single search on YouTube or Twitter or even Google should even the divide a bit.

I also agree with the idea that feminists don't want men to put themselves above women, and agree that chivalry and gentlemanly attitude should be shared by both sides.

I wouldn't say i'm scared, more ... bored. I'm also quite annoyed at how modern corporations are using "diversity" quotas to discriminate against young men entering the workforce. Why should men suffer just because women don't have the skills or talent to compete on an equal footing ?

I am reading a book by Terrence Real about how men can camuflage depression using self aggrandizing, which could cause behaviours such as stalking and DV, to function because of the stigma that showing vunerability is 'unmanly'. I didn't stop thinking about her male tears t-shirt. Jessica Valenti is both renforcing gender roles and creating toxic masculinity. Maybe that is the reason people hate (her version of) feminism.
