This tutorial shows you how to make multiple subtitle tracks show at the same time. It also covers why doing this will not allow you to export an SRT file because the process converts from an official subtitle to a graphic.

I wonder if you could teach us how to move a subtitle track up or down, I tried Alt + arrow keys up and down, but it doesn't do anything on subtitle tracks

If you simply want to merge two caption tracks, copy one set of captions, delete the track they are on and paste them to the remaining caption track. You can't select them and press Alt+up (or down) as you can with clips on the timeline (which seems counter-intuitive). Also, the track that you delete has to be the LOWEST. If you delete the top track and paste captions it will create a new track (???). This seems like a bug (Pr 24.0.0. Build 58).

Thanks Colin! Anyone knows how about exporting each subtitle (after nailing the timings and such on video) as .srt and import it in another project? We are a team and someone is doing subtitles while I am going to import them into the final cut. Urgent need of answers here godspeed Xx
