The Crew 2 got ANOTHER Graphics Update?

After a nice visual upgrade and the addition of a new performance mode... with a terrible resolution, they went back and fixed those issues. Along with some new events for us to check out in Season 7 Episode 1 of The Crew 2!

I love the theme they were going for and the events look incredible and the sandstorms were sick and the fact that you can now buy the motorpass with bucks and crew credits instead of just crew credits is cool too

1440p is no slouch, and I believe it’s going to be the next standard resolution just as 1080p once became when it took over 720p. It’s a very good resolution in between performance and resolution. I usually baseline my pc builds around that resolution

Just decided to download the game again because it’s been a while since I played, and I had no idea they added 60fps *and* an improvement to the graphics. I’m constantly impressed by how much better this game is getting, the amount of post-launch support is insane.

My favourite thing in Into The Storm events is the music. Bass house is my favourite music genre.

The jumps on that second race is what i want, and expected from The Crew 2. I’ve always hated the forced ones. Where they put actual ramps everywhere. Even in the middle of a highway in the LA part which they somehow haven’t removed yet. I love these jumps because they blend in with the map. They don’t have what feels like a “jump here” sign on them. Part of the thrill i get from older NFS games was jumping out of, for example, a fallen down billboard, etc.

Funny thing is, this is how they did jumps back in TC1. Subtle. How they did it in TC2 was just an eyesore.

60fps should always be an option on most games, especially now when consoles are on-par with most high-end pcs

Also, it completely depends on your definition of a high end computer. My definition might be way more different than yours.

My favourite part of this game is Pro Settings. You can make any car feel right for you with some proper application of those settings
