When I converted my van I used milk crates for the base and then use a piece of plywood and cut it in the middle and put a big hinge in it that way I could use the milk crates for storage and lift up each side depending on what I needed. That way if you ever want to use the van for hauling all you have to do is take out the milk crates. Bonus you can prop it up against the back doors and use it as a couch. If you need something for a specific task you can have each milk crate allotted with those items.

Not a bad color choice on the frame. You can always change it later. What I'm impressed with is the fact that you didn't get a drop of paint on yourself or your clothes. 😀
