Candy Apple TV: Have you ever wondered how to make candy apples with kit? In this candy apple tutorial, I’M making red candy apples with a candy apple kit. I will give you my honest opinion on using this candy apple kit. I will let you know if you’re better off making candy apples from scratch or if making candy apples with the Concord candy apple kit is a better option.

I will show you the best candy apple cleaning method for your Granny Smith apples so your apples will remain green and crisp on the inside. My best candy apple cleaning method with lemon juice, baking soda, and salt is that deal!

I will briefly go over how to make red candy apple bows. You may call them treat bows or dessert bows…lol. They are decorative bows to go on your candy apples or your sweet treats. You can call them whatever you like, because they are your treat bows.

This candy apple kit reminds me of when I was a little girl, running down the street with my $1.00 to get a candy apple from the candy lady. I couldn’t wait to get one of those candy apples, although there wasn't any butter vanilla flavoring added….LOL! Those candy apples used to look so good sitting on top of the aluminum foil…lol. The candy lady didn’t use parchment or wax paper. I didn’t care about the candy apples being translucent either…lol. I just wanted a candy apple….lol.

If I purchased candy apples for $1 back in the 80’s and 90’s. Just imagine what a plain candy apple should be now? What price are you selling your plain candy apples?

Many treat makers get hung up on what is the appropriate or correct candy apple recipe to use. I say just have fun making candy apples and be REMORSELESS while making them. You shouldn’t have regret or guilt about making candy apples. Your preference is your PREROGATIVE! Be classy and be your best original self! Candy apples are happy treats in which I enjoy making. Make sure you watch until the end to see if this candy apple kit is DUMMY proof.❤

What is the white stuff? Also, could I slice my apples and then do and dry them? I can't eat regular candied apples anymore.
