one mag from an MG kills it if you shoot the face. Same tactic as the first game, bait the tenticles and then either run past them to get a clear shot or run away from them, depending on the situation

One literally sprouted out from behind me, impaled me, lifted me up and went flying 100 feet. That was so funny luckily I survived because I had just stimmee and had stim booster

Also, if you happen to be standing where the tentacles erupt out of the ground you'll get yeeted to your death somewhat halfways across the map.

In the first game it looks like something you need to dodge, while in the second its a whole ass boss fight

The tentacles can't hurt you if you are in an autocannon mech. Instead, when they hit you, you will go flying all the way across the map. Happened to me twice.

Devs must reduce his tentacles range, it's ridiculous. You can't even find the bastard, and if you got 2-3 of them you doomed for 100%

the head has medium armor when his tentacles are out.
I killed one with the Autocannon from the front.

This is why the tentacles from Half Life are hidden underground, particularly an underground water source (like the one you find after torching it with a rocket)

Railcannon Strike and i believe it was 2 Autocannon Shots to the Head and he was gone

i just found out how one shot it. une impact granade on the side when tentacles are deployed. forget to hit the head.
