After many takes and expletives, this is the least flubbed version.

Don't skip practice before recording, kids.

One of these days, I'll nail it, Take One. In the meantime, thanks for listening. :)

When I watch your videos, it is very obvious that you thoroughly enjoy what you are doing. The joy and energy and enthusiasm that you bring to your performances is infectious! If I may, a couple of suggestions for future videos -- Garnet's Homemade Beer by Ian Robb and Run Sister Run by the Red Clay Ramblers. 🙏

I'm a fan of both Richard & Linda Thompson going way back (together and solo). You nailed a wonderful rendition of one of my favorites; thank you!

The Lady really sings and makes the banjo talk. Wonderful.

That's a great version Mary. I haven't heard that song since I heard Del McCoury and his band perform it.

Just found your channel. Wish I could hear this music from the nearby hills on a quiet spring morning on my front porch.

Incredible Mary!! You sing like an angel on an aerial, and you pick that banjo like a boss.
Thank you for this video!!

A gorgeous girl singing about a motorcycle and a girl. Mary you do this song justice. You and Reckless Kelly are my favorite versions of this song. Keep on singing Mary

Another bloody fantastic cover. Easily one of the best ones that I've heard 😊
Love the bit right near the end, I totally relate to it 😅

Both times. Both times, Richard made you feel it in your gut when he sang the word ride. I know you probably do a ton of songs, but when someone makes you feel something in your gut, some songwriter and then you cover it even if the banjo is amazing, you really got to somehow nail that even if you do it differently than the original.

Great stuff! I can actually see Box Hill from here (it is still a popular haunt for bikers, both pedal and motor)

Usually when this comes up at a bluegrass festival it’s time for me to go to loo but your vocals and fluid playing were a real treat. Well done young lady, really nice job 👍🇬🇧
