When I was little I was at a house show and afterwards you got to play in the ring a little bit. That’s when I learned how hard a wrestling ring really was. Did one bounce off the ropes and didn’t want to play anymore. I didn’t know about being flat for sure

I remember trying out for JV basketball, baseball, and football. I made the baseball and basketball team, but I got the wind knocked out of me once in football and I was done. My stomach hurt for the entire day, and the next day I said “screw practice, I quit!” Getting hit makes you rethink a lot of things. I got a lot of respect for football players.

If you’ve never taken a bump, run the ropes or been tossed into a turnbuckle you would be shocked at how impactful all three are, even after you’ve been told.
