Of course... the fur baby not only has to get in the way of making the bed... but has to clean "unmentionables" on the clean sheets in the process. Gotta love em.

I would love to see the vlog of you reading sequels! One of my reading goals for 2024 is to tackle my physical TBR, because like you said, it’s way out of control! 🤣

My black cat loves to snuggle with me whenever I sit down to do any time of craft also. Must be a black cat thing 🐈‍⬛🖤

I love your insect and book coupling! So beautiful! My book bracket is also one of my favourite spreads too. Although, I still didn't decide between my top two for 2023, haha.

So good you have black kitties. I had a Yoda but she was a ginger. Thanks for sharing them with us.

I’m so excited you’re continuing with reading journal videos! They’re some of my favorites. I love seeing the spreads come together and hear about what books you’ve been reading each month. I love this theme too!
📖📚📒

I’m just coming out of a long reading slump so my goal this year is 25 books. For me, it’s just the most realistic. I’ve read 4 so far, so I feel like I’m off to a good start. Hopefully I’ll surpass my goal. My favorite this month is Persuasion by Jane Austen. I was honestly surprised by how much I loved it.

Awww, of course we get a couple of cat cameos because it’s clean sheet day! 😂 also, yay new reading journal video ❤🎉 my reading goal is 140 as it has been for the last several years (last year I read 208 books bc I was on medical leave for a couple months so that’s not a realistic goal 😅) 📚 I have a list of 24 books off my TBR that have been hanging around for a couple of years that I want to get to this year (I did a 23 in 2023 that I read about half of so kind of helpful lol). And I also have fun challenges like the Heaving Bosoms Reading Embrace, Pop Sugar, BN, etc.

My goal is 45 books. I made my goal 10 more than last year. I love watching BuJo videos. They are so fun! I want to start one…but I’m scared of the commitment. I work full time and it’s hard to have me time. I’m 23 and I work as a CNA and I’m very, very busy. Whether it’s working or sleeping. It’s hard to find time to sit down and read or listen to one, BUT I’m determined to make it to my goal!

You inspired me to do the reading around the world challenge as well, I started last year and it's been going great, I love learning about new perspectives and cultures through literature. 😊📚

📚📚 My reading goal for 2024 is 250 books. I usually read well over 300, but I want to stop using reading as a way to disconnect from the hard things in my life as much as I do, so I reduced my goal and hopefully that will make me slow down and notice the world around me.

📗📖💚 Stunning reading journal format! My reading challenge for 2024 is 40 books. Last year it was 52 and I felt like I was pushing it and choosing quick read novels to achieve my challenge, rather than really enjoying my reading. A fantastic non-fiction book I've just finished and gave 5 starts to is Rick Rubin's The Creative Act: A Way of Being. So many tabs for interesting and resonating paragraphs - I've bought the book and also the audible version. Just need to get me some Tombow markers and other stationery supplies you've recommended to tab and highlight my own copy 🥰📔📝

Excited to see "A Day of Fallen Night" on your 24 in 24 list. I'm currently reading it (about 1/3 through) and absolutely loving it so far! Definitely going to have to ready "The Priory of the Orange Tree" too!

This is stunningly beautiful 👏👏👏
Do you read in French ?
I am French, my husband is American and I still find it tiring (although enjoyable) to read a whole book in English. We live in France, it'll be my excuse!
I read around 50 books a year, I really wish I had more time...
Once again, congratulations on your set up, it really is amazing.
If you read in French, I recommend you "Veiller sur elle" (Jean-Baptiste Andrea) which is a fresq around sculpture in Italy just before Italy's fascist period, and a beautiful impossible love story between a man coming from a very poor background and a very rich woman. Worth to be read, it is recent as it received the "Prix Goncourt 2023" and I have no idea whether it has been translated, it would sure deserve it.

The vintage nature/book combo is lovely! My reading goal is 60 this year, but I'm making it a goal that all sixty are 500+ pages. I got into a groove of reading ~200 books a year, but more often than not they were between 200-400 pages. I'm trying to read more slowly and take my time this year.
I always love the book bracket. My top three were so close it was dreadful to decide which was better Thanks to you I picked up Monstrilio and Kaikeyi and loved both. Kaikeyi especially was a new favorite. Have a great day!📚

My goal is always 50 because I can always hit it. I don’t tolerate pressure well, so I make it easy. I read 118 last year so I feel pretty confident that I’ll read plenty. 😁📚

As someone who used to be a big reader as a child but stopped for a long time - and now trying to read again, I really love your reading journal videos because I kinda see it as a goal? Like, i wanna read enough books to actually need a journal for it, if that makes sense 😅

📚🧡👏 So inspiring… you just integrated all of my favorite things into a book! Memory-making, year in review, reading, cats, rest, being crafty/creative, scrapbooking, journaling, and processing books… in one fun video. I hope to do something like this to sum up a homeschool year or our reading adventures… thank you! Oh, and my last five-star read was Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger.
