It's not even an opinion, Big Mac is the smallest out of all "big" hamburger of the big American fast food burger shops. That's fine, though, it's not like we need to eat so much. It's just the $10 price tag that's ridiculous.

Yeah I'd say the key factor in a homemade Big Mac is just getting the sauce and toppings right, over the form factor. Copycat sauce (thousand island salad dressing is an acceptable substitute), diced onions, pickles, shredded iceberg lettuce, patty, cheese... give or take the "double decker" extra layer. You've got the flavor profile down and that's the really important part
