I'm largely storing games on a couple external hard drives until 2TB SSDs go down in price and are on a decent sale. 1TB seems too small for the medium to long run, so I'm patiently waiting for a 2TB SSD to prevent buying a 1TB SSD and another SSD shortly down the line. I don't mind transferring games in the meantime.

I recommended using your internal storage for video clips and screenshots, M.2 SSD for Ps5 games, and an external USB drive for PS4 games.

I have had crashes with PS4 games on the external drive from time to time so if you don't want potenial crashes, move your main PS4 games to the M.2 SSD.

Don’t have too much money to spend on storage. Right now just delete or redownload the games if I really wanna play them again. Some games I’ll just never wanna play anymore but some I don’t mind to keep playing so I’ll keep it.

I went with a 2 TB XPG Gammix S70 Blade and it runs plenty fast for way less than what the Aorus costs.

I actually ordered this same drive on Amazon a few months ago, I purchased a 1tb but received a 2tb drive instead. The speeds on my PS5 don't register as fast as the drive is rated for, but I can't complain considering I got double the storage for half of the price.

I am getting this because I've finally got a PS5 coming in. Like the PS4 pro, it is easy to install another drive. In fact, even easier because for my PS4 pro, I had to REMOVE the old HDD to install the SSD and reinstall the OS and patches. This one is an add-on slot, which is amazingly convenient.

Have I ever done an upgrade like this? I upgraded my ps3’s hard drive day one. When SSDs were a thing I put an SSD in that bad boy and never looked back. No it doesn’t truly benefit from SSD speeds but it cuts down on a lot of the noise and heat. It’s fantastic.

Now my ps4 pro? Definitely a huge difference when you use an SSD.

Anyone else notice towards end of video screen on window reflection doesn't match what's actually on the screen. (no doubt due to the screen being added in post from a direct capture to avoid glare)

Guys, the Adata XPG Gammix S70 is better! Costs $20-$30 less on average and has better read speeds (up to 7400 Mbps). I’m just putting it out there. Don’t see why my original comment was deleted…

Also yeah if you aren't putting an m.2 ssd in your PS5 AT LEAST get a usb drive for offloading stuff and saving yourself download time.
