Affordability requires neither Left nor Right thinking or a mix perhaps. But the long-standing policy of having housing be a market-driven capitalist project has led us to where we are. Non-profit rental housing is badly needed. Contrary to this we also need corporate taxes cut or eliminated, get rid of capital gains taxes and talking honestly about the need for refineries and pipelines. Also need to encourage Canadian investment in Canadian companies. And restrictions to U.S. ownership of the same assets. The U.S. is dead to us now. Obviously, we don't re-sign any FTA, would be worse than signing one with China.

Focus on voting for Trump is a strategic mistake Canadians going to make, did they forget how bad, horrible this country being managed in the last 9 years? GDP Growth is at the bottom of OECD countries!

I feel fortunate to have voted for Pierre Trudeau as well. Pierre must be really proud of his son.

Eliminating tax on homes is useless. It simply gives *everyone* a higher max in a bidding war.

The way I see it is with the CPC you get Canadian sovereignty, increased freedom, and more economic prosperity. Carney just seems like Trudeau 2.0. Green this, tax that, etc.

If Liberals get in I’ll just transfer the last 20% of my investments to US companies.
