How to replace Renault Megane 2 lower engine mount
Показать описание
On this video I am showing how to replace Renault Megane II lower engine mount.
To do this you will need to get under your car, if you want to do it easiest way, it is not very hard work to do neither requires a lot of knowledge.
Do do this you will need some basic tools like:
17 mm and 21 mm socket and ratchet for removing the lower mount, some sparing oil, to open bolts a bit easier, tools depending of your lower protector, most probably 10 mm socket and ratchet, in my case I needed 7 mm, 10 mm sockets..
And for safety purposes it is recommended to lift up a bit your engine, just in case one of your upper mounts does not do its work too good, but since you do all the works at your own risk, you will can see that in normal scenario the lower engine mount doe snot take any engine weight while the car stand on all 4 wheels and does not move, just so you know.
Last year, when I was replacing my Renault Megane concentric slave cylinder, I noticed that this part is rather cracked, to be honest it has been rather same for last 25000 km, so it is not must to replace part, if it snot totally torn, but it is always good if you keep your car in good condition.
After I replaced this part I kind a feel no difference in anything :D
