this movie is one of my all time favorites. it’s a little more special to me because I live in metro detroit where it was filmed, and my grandpa worked for ford. pretty cool seeing such a legendary actor/director hang out and film one of his best movies in your area

Watching this movie always makes me cry . Born and raised in metro Detroit, my first car was a '73 Gran Torino . And it was green . My father was a WW II veteran . Who drank Pabst Blue ribbon ! And now so do I . Did I mention Clint Eastwood has always been my favorite actor ?
I guess it just hits so close to home !
