The government should begin to roll back the salaries of the Congress and the Senate as well as cut perks. all high-level civil servants who are not employees but civil servants should have their pays in line with the average worker...not in line with corporate America
as they produce nothing...

Its not about the Corporations not paying a fair wage or paying less taxes. It's about the taxes being too high for the poor and especially the middle class. If the government loves us so much, reduce taxes or become less of a tax burden for the average American. There's no need to have a stimulus checks or welfare, just reduce taxes. Less non-efficient government employees is a benefit to society (look at the long lines at the DMV, Post office etc)

Raise the standard deduction to then you'll be helping 99% of the population. Cut the spending like the so called defense budget by at least half. We don't need to be spending many times more on defense than all other nations combined. Reform the medical and insurance systems so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for care. Focus more on preventive care and this will lower health care costs greatly. Insurance should pay for things like natural products to aid in people's health instead of only for drugs.

Trish Regan has nailed the state of our economy. I especially like the fact that she thinks China wants to be the reserve currency and that the Federal gov't should be looking to spend less and not more. Her opinion on cyber-security is also spot on.
